Biography

CAREER: Has started in all 182 games she has played in … owns a .421 batting average with 238 total hits which is a school record … owns the record for most home runs in school history with 42 ...  has 132 runs batted in and 153 runs scored … 2017 America East and ECAC Rookie of the Year … three-time America East All-Conference First Team selection … became the program’s first NFCA DI All-Region First Team selection and first Softball America DI All-America Honorable Mention in 2019 … selected to NFCA D1 All-Region First team again in 2021… four-time America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll…America East All-Academic team selection … member of the CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 First Team.

AS A GRADUATE STUDENT (2021): Posted a .366 batting average in 93 at bats … tied a career high with 11 home runs on the season … added 5 doubles, 2 triples, and 26 runs batted in … walked a total of 25 times and owned a .500 on base percentage … totaled 48 putouts and 63 assists for a .881 fielding percentage.

AS A SENIOR (2020):
**Season shortened due to COVID-19** Started in all 16 games…finished with a team-high .491 batting average and career/team-high .965 slugging percentage…led the team in multiple offensive categories: hits (28), home runs (8), RBI (22), and on-base percentage (.554)…had eight multi-hit games including four hits at Belmont (3.11) and one multi-home run game at Belmont (3.11)… .951 fielding percentage behind 34 putouts and 24 assists… America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll recipient…Named to America East All-Academic Team. 

AS A JUNIOR (2019): Started all 48 games … led the nation in batting average (.508) and on-base percentage (.630) … led the America East with an .886 slugging percentage … her 44 walks set a new single-season program record … paced the team with career-best marks for runs (47), hits (67) and home runs (11) … also finished first on the team with 15 doubles … added 31 RBI … boasted 16 multi-hit games, including three games with four hits, and a 19-game reached base streak … season-high four RBI with her first career grand slam at Yale (3.19) … matched a program record with two home runs against Northern Kentucky (3.12) … named to the America East All-Conference First Team … earned NFCA All-Region First Team honors … Softball America All-America Honorable Mention … named to the America East Winter/Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE:
Started all 47 games played … led the squad in multiple categories, including batting average (.345), slugging percentage (.568), runs (31), hits (51), doubles (18) and total bases (84) … paced the America East with 18 doubles, in addition to tying for second on the program’s all-time, single-season record list … added 18 RBI, 19 walks, five home runs and a .417 on-base percentage … boasted a team-best 15 multi-hit games, in addition to a 10-game hit streak and a 21-game on-base streak … matched a career high with four hits against Hartford (4.7) … turned in a .944 fielding percentage … named America East Player of the Week twice this season … America East All-Conference First Team selection.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Started all 40 games … led all hitters in the America East with a .430 batting average … her .696 slugging percentage and .483 on-base percentage also ranked in the top three in the conference … finished with team-best marks of 58 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 35 RBI … tied a program record on two occasions with a pair of home runs against Georgetown (3.17) and UMBC (4.30) … season-high four hits, four runs and five RBI against Georgetown (3.17) … boasted a 13-game hit streak from April 2-18, good for second on the school's all-time record list … totaled 17 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI teams to lead the squad … four-time America East Rookie of the Week … named America East and ECAC Rookie of the Year … garnered America East All-Conference First Team and All-Rookie Team accolades ... named to the America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Member of the varsity softball team at the Governor’s Academy … four-time All-League selection … two-time team MVP … named to the 2016 Boston Globe All-Scholastic Team …NEPSAC Female Athlete of the Year ... earned All-ISL MPVP honors as a junior … also played volleyball and basketball … four-time All-League selection for both basketball and volleyball … garnered the title of team MVP for three straight years for basketball (2014-16) … also named to the basketball All-New England Team on three occasions … named to the All-League Team for volleyball three times, as well … member of the Honor Roll.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of John and Jeannie Cashman … has four brothers … older brother (Tim) played baseball at Merrimack … brother (Justin) is on the baseball team at Hartford … enjoys riding dirt bikes and four wheelers in her free time … lists Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal as her favorite TV shows … favorite sports figures include Dustin Pedroia and Jennie Finch … chose UMass Lowell for its proximity to her family and to fulfill her dream of playing Division I softball … majoring in Criminal Justice.
