Taylor Carbone enters her third season at UMass Lowell. She first joined the River Hawk softball staff for the 2018 season as a volunteer coach before being named an assistant coach beginning in 2019.
Carbone came to UMass Lowell after spending one season as an assistant coach at Emerson College.

During her time at Emerson, Carbone assisted the head coach with creating practice plans, setting game day activities and recruiting. She was also in charge of coaching the team's pitchers and hitters.

Carbone has been a private pitching and hitting instructor since 2013. She has also spent time working as both a head and assistant coach for the U-18 Polar Crush since 2014.

A native of Hudson, N.H., she played four years at the University of Massachusetts. As a freshman, she was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team. She also received All-Conference Second Team and NFCA All-Northeast Region honors as a senior.

Carbone graduated from Massachusetts in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
