Ogunleye started off the season with a 1st place finish at the 2016 Dartmouth Relays - College/Open with a time of 49.12 in the 400M... He followed up with another 1st place finish, this time in the 500M with a time of 1:04.34 at the Boston University Mulit Team Meet, a personal best... At the John Thomas Terrier Invitational his time of 21.82 in the 200M was a personal best, he finished in 19th place... His 4x400 meter relay team at the 2016 America East Indoor Championships finished in 4th with a time of 3:17.17... Also at the 2016 America East Indoor Championships he finished the 400M in 2nd place with a time of 48.56... He finished in 8th place at the 48th NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with his 49.25 time in the 400M...
Outdoor Track
His 47.56 time in the 400M at the 2016 Colonial Relays was a personal best time, he finished in 6th place...
