Biography

AS A SENIOR: Started in all 18 games for the River Hawks • Notched two goals and five assists on the season • Highlights include the opening goal in a 2-0 win over Sacred Heart, and two assists (one on the game winning goal) in a 3-2 win over Stony Brook.

AS A JUNIOR: Named to NE-10  All-Conference Second Team • Saw action in 17 matches with 15 starts • Scored four goals and added three assists • Highlights include scoring the game winning goal in a 3-2 win over Le Moyne (9/29).  

BEFORE UMASS LOWELL: Two year standout at Massasoit Community College. 

PERSONAL: One of five children of Maria De Jesus and Fernando Zapata of Medellin, Colombia • Lists Barcelona as favorite team • Fluent in Spanish • Majoring in exercise physiology.
