Diego Campos was named assistant coach for the UMass Lowell men's soccer team in May of 2023 after spending the previous eight years as a member of the Bavarian United Soccer Club's coaching staff.

During his time with the Bavarian United Soccer Club, Campos filled a variety of positions, including Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Pre-Academy Director, and Boys & Girls Junior Director. As an assistant, Campos helped lead his team to become Men's National Amateur Cup Champions during the 2022 season.

Before joining the Bavarian United Soccer Club, Campos was an all-region-level midfielder for the Concordia University – Wisconsin Falcons. As a Falcon, Campos was a team captain, MVP, the CUW Male Career Achievement Award Winner, and was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA DIII Men's All-Central Region Second Team his senior year. He was also tabbed to the All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference team each year of his career.

Campos earned his bachelor's degree from Concordia University – Wisconsin in accounting in 2016.
