Biography
AS A SENIOR (2014-15): Shot a 74-77-151 to help UMass Lowell finish second at the NEIGA Championship - Shot a season low of a 71 at the Til Duty Is Done Invitational - Shot a combined round low of 73-76-149 at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Invitational - Played 10 tournaments over the course of the season - Also turned in a 73-78-151 at the New England Division I Championship - Maintained a season average of 78.1.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13):Â Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, shot a 74-80-154 to help lead UMass Lowell to runner-up spot - Played in six of seven tournaments in the fall 2012 season with a 78.2 average - Season-best round of 74 came in the first round of the NE-10 Championship - Also highlighted with rounds of 77-76 at the Saint Rose Fall Shootout and a 78 at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship to lift UMass Lowell to a share of the team championship - Played in six tournaments in the spring 2013 season - Shot 79-87-74--240 at the NCAA Tournament East-Atlantic Super Regional.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12):Â Featured in three tournaments in the spring 2012 season - Highlighted with a 76 in the second round of the UMass Lowel River Hawk Invitational; and a 79 in the first round of the Franklin Pierce Invitational.
BEFORE UMASS LOWELL:Â Former standout at Central Catholic H.S. for coach Vin Pastore - Went on to earn MIAA All-State and All-Merrimack Valley Conference honors - Captain as a senior.
PERSONAL:Â Youngest of three sons of Charles and Nancy Fay of Lawrence, Mass. - Lists Adam Scott as favorite sports figure - Touts Boston Red Sox as favorite professional team - Majoring in Accounting.
