Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE: Shot a 81-80-67 (228) to win the UML Open Tryout • Sat out the 2010-11 year due to NCAA transfer rules • Attended Pfeiffer (N.C.) College as a freshman before transferring to UMass Lowell.
AS A JUNIOR: Played in eight of nine tournaments in the fall 2011 with a team-low fall average of 76.4 · Highlighted with a 71 in the first round of the Dowling College September Shootout · Earned NEIGA All-Tournament Team honors after firing consecutive rounds of 74 at the NEIGA Championship to lead UMass Lowell to then a best-ever third-place finish among 34 Division I, II and III colleges · Averaged a 77.27 for the spring 2012 season, highlighted with a 73 in the first round of the Dowling Peter King Memorial.
AS A SENIOR: Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team, fired consecutive rounds of 77 to lead UMass Lowell to second place · Maintained a fall average of 79.1 · Shot in the 70s in all 12 spring rounds, peaking with a 78-78-73--229 at the NCAA East-Atlantic Super Regional · Maintained a spring average of 75.27.
TRITON REGIONAL H.S.: Four-year player at Triton Regional H.S. for coach Rich Dube • Named captain, team MVP as a senior • Four-time All-Cape Ann League, Most Valuable Player as a senior • Captured several tournaments following his junior year: CYO Senior Championship, New England Junior Championship and North Carolina Junior Championship • Also played baseball and basketball at Triton Regional.
