AS A JUNIOR (2024-25): Appeared in all 36 games for the River Hawks during his junior campaign, with a career-high ten assists for a career-high ten points ... Third on the team with 46 blocks ... Picked up his first point of the year on an assist against Minnesota Duluth (10/11).  

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24): Appeared in 33 games for the River Hawks during his sophomore campaign, scoring one goal with a career-high three assists for a career-high four points ... Led the team with a career-high 55 blocks ... Picked up his first point of the year on an assist in a 5-2 victory at Colgate (10/21) ... Scored his first goal of the season at Maine (01/19).

AS A FRESHMAN (2022-23): Appeared in 18 games for the River Hawks during his rookie campaign, recording one goal and one assist for two points ... Scored his first career goal against Massachusetts in the 2022 Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland (11/25) ... Dished out his first career assist against Merrimack (02/24).  

Before UMass Lowell: Spent last season with the Youngstown Phantoms, making 48 appearances and scoring 15 points off three goals and 12 assists … Also played hockey at Don Bosco Prep, leading the team to a state championship in 2019 … Named to the All-State First Team his senior year.
 
Personal: Son of Maria and Thomas Schweighardt … Has two sisters, Kristen and Katelyn … Enjoys golfing, dirt biking, boating, fishing and lacrosse in his free time … Names the NJ Devils as his favorite professional sports team … Lists Zach Whitecloud and Connor Clifton as his biggest sports influences … Chose UMass Lowell because it was “the best fit for me to continue my academic and hockey career” … Hopes to play hockey professionally.
