HERENDA ON SEARCY: "Sam is a hard working player with very good athletic ability.  He is a combo guard that competes in practice at a very high level of play. Sam guards the ball extremely hard and can really rebound for a player of his size. Sam continues to improve on a daily basis and is an integral part of our team and program."

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in six games • Had two points and a rebound vs. Merrimack in an 100-73 victory (12/1).

AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in eight games • Scored two points against New Haven in an 80-54 win (1/28).
