The University of Massachusetts Lowell Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes individual student-athletes, coaches and others who have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics by virtue of their performance on athletic teams representing the University, or by meritorious efforts on behalf of athletics.

Induction to the Athletic Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors bestowed by the Department of Athletics.  In recognition of the legacy and accomplishments of its members, UMass Lowell established the Blue Blazer Society.   This elite society will consist of teams and individuals honored by election to the Athletic Hall of Fame.   Beginning in 2019, Hall of Fame classes will be awarded their Blue Blazer at their induction ceremony.  The blazer, bearing the Hall of Fame mark, is unique to members and should be worn proudly at future inductions – to show support for new members and to distinguish themselves and their achievements.
