Indoor Track      
He started off the indoor season with a 1^st place finish with a 6' 3.5" high jump at the 30th Brown University Alden Invitational... At the same meet he had a personal best in the 60M of 7.47... His 6' 4" high jump at the Tufts Invite #1 netted him 2^nd place... He came out of the Boston University Mulit Team Meet with a 1^st place finish in the high jump with a mark of 6' 2.25"...

Outdoor Track      
At the UMass Lowell Invitational his 6' 0.75" high jump got him 1^st place... In the high jump at the 2016 University of New Hampshire meet he had a mark of 6' 2", earning him 3^rd place... He also got 3^rd at the 2016 Dartmouth Outdoor Invitational with a 6' 3.5" high jump...

Indoor Track       
Tonelli started off strong with a second place finish in the high jump at the Brown University Alden Invitational with a mark of 6’ 3.5”… He then had a personal best at the 2014 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational in the high jump with a height of 6’ 6.25” good enough for sixth place… At the same meet, the 2014 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational, he had a personal best in the 200 meter with a time of 23.27… In the high jump at the 2014 Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational he finished in fourth place with a height of 6’ 4.25”… He had a high jump mark of 6’ 4.75” at the Boston University Multi-Team Meet which earned him third place…
 
Outdoor Track    
He finished sixth in the high jump at the Brown Invitational with a mark of 6’ 0.75”… Then at the George Davis Invitational he finished in third place with a high jump mark of 6’ 4.25”…
 
Shrewsbury High School: Track Captain… Fourth Place All-New England in High Jump – 6’ 5”… Two-Time Outdoor Track MVP… Three-Time League All-Star… Broke school record in 4x400m relay with a time of 3:27… 6’ 5” Personal Best in High Jump… 22.7 Personal Best in 200m Sprint…  School record holder for High Jump… Football Team... Honor roll sophomore through senior year…
 
Personal: Son of Rino F. Tonelli of Webster, MA and Christine Tonelli of Shrewsbury, MA… Enjoys modeling, acting, playing basketball with friends, eating Oreos and Chips Ahoy and Pokémon… Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are his favorite TV shows… His favorite sports teams are the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots… Names Paul Pierce and Jesse Williams as his favorite sports figures… Calls breaking a 30 year old high jump record during his junior year his greatest sports moment… Chose UMass Lowell due to the great coaching staff including Coach Patrick Swett and because of his late friend Toni Onikeku who he locked up to and competed against during his high school career… Hopes to find a career in the Department of Homeland Security… Majoring in Criminal Justice…
