Chris Guerin Named America East Performer of the Week, Sean Finnegan Tabbed Rookie of the Week

LOWELL, Mass. – Sophomore Chris Guerin (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and freshman Sean Finnegan (Hopkinton, Mass.) each earned America East weekly awards following their performances at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.Â
Guerin was a standout in a race of 240 finishers, claiming eighth place in the men's gold 8k with a new personal record time of 24:46.90, on his way to his first career conference award.
Finnegan shined in just his second career meet and first 8k race, finishing 21st overall in the men's gold 8k with a 25:16.15 mark. This also marks his first career conference award. Â
