River Hawks Add 15 Newcomers to 2026 Roster

LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell Men's Soccer Head Coach Kyle Zenoni has announced the addition of 15 newcomers to his team ahead of the 2026 campaign.

"I'm expecting a lot of the new guys to jump in and compete for starting spots," said Zenoni. "I expect they'll contribute a lot whether they start or come off the bench; they'll be a big part of it. The expectation is to try and get better. I think the returners have done a good job of pushing them, and the new guys have done a good job of pushing the returners. I think what I'm seeing now is these guys are going to play a big part in what we have moving forward."

The incoming class features two freshmen, defender Jeremy Mahn (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and goalkeeper Isai Jimenez (Morganton, N.C.), alongside junior forwards Justin Godbout-Garon (Québec City, Canada), Kanata Takahashi (Hyogo, Japan), Adam Abdelaal (Orlando, Fl.), and Yiftah Harari (Tel Aviv, Israel); junior midfielders Fredrik Moen (Sarpsborg, Norway), Marinho Oldenburg (Utrecht, Netherlands), and Archie Wisdom (Brisbane, Australia); junior defenders Louis Dufraiche (Pluherlin, France), Jonah Straube (Frankfurt, Germany), and Sho Kinjo (Nara, Japan), and junior goalkeepers Moritz Aé (Leipzig, Germany) and Eijin Magota (Tokyo, Japan). The River Hawks also brought in junior goalkeeper Toby Forsythe (Columbus, Ohio) this past winter before he tragically passed away over the summer.
