LOWELL, Mass. – Three student-athletes from the UMass Lowell men's and women's outdoor track and field teams earned America East All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Graduate students Sarah Ross (Agawam, Mass.) and Fleur Balogh de Galantha (Grafton, Mass.) represented the women, while graduate student Derek Munroe (Tewksbury, Mass.) was the lone selection from the men's team. All three also earned America East Indoor Track & Field All-Academic honors in March.

Ross, a veteran of the list, earns her seventh career All-Academic Team selection. She has also been named the conference's Elite 18 Award winner four times and maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Plastics Engineering. On the track, she placed eighth in both the 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter races at the 2026 America East Outdoor Championships.

Balogh de Galantha garners her second All-Academic Team selection after earning the honor during the indoor season. She boasts a 3.76 graduate GPA while pursuing her MBA after earning a 3.85 undergraduate GPA in Graphic Design. At this year's America East Outdoor Championships, she placed seventh in the high jump, 12th in the long jump and 13th in the shot put, further showcasing her versatility.

With the selection, Munroe becomes a three-time America East All-Academic honoree. He owns a 3.82 graduate GPA in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program after earning a 3.63 undergraduate GPA in Exercise Science. On the track, he broke his own school record in the decathlon at the 2026 America East Outdoor Championships with 7,034 points. He also finished seventh in the javelin and eighth in the pole vault.
