LOWELL, Mass. – New UMass Lowell Women's Basketball Head Coach Brianna Finch will be formally introduced to the Lowell media and community at a press conference on Monday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
The press conference will take place inside the film room in the Kennedy Family Athletic Complex. The event will include remarks from both Finch and UMass Lowell Director of Athletics
Lynn Coutts, as well as questions from the media.
Coutts announced Finch as the newest River Hawk head coach last week. A proven program builder with more than 20 years of collegiate and professional experience, Finch most recently served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at George Washington University. She previously spent four seasons on the women's basketball staff at Boston University. A recognized leader in the profession, Finch has been selected for the 2026 WBCA Next Gen Institute and was named one of the "50 Most Impactful Assistant Coaches" by Silver Waves Media in 2024.
