LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell men's outdoor track and field team has been selected first in the 2026 America East Outdoor Track and Field Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference on Thursday.

The River Hawks totaled 60 points and received five first-place votes, narrowly edging UAlbany, which finished with 59 points and three first-place votes. UMBC rounded out the top three with 50 points.

The team is coming off back-to-back conference titles in cross country and indoor track and field this year and are looking for the triple crown.
