LOWELL, Mass. – Coming off two games down south, the UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team (3-5, 0-0 AE) returns home to host Central Michigan (1-7) on Tuesday, March 17, before visiting UAlbany (6-2, 1-0 AE) to open up America East conference play on Saturday, March 21.

OFFENSIVE OUTBURST
In the first-ever match against Furman, the River Hawks' offense reached a new level, scoring 20 goals and a program-record 15 assists, surpassing the previous record of 12 set back in the 2017 season. Individually, Bowers finished with seven goals, the second-most goals and points in a game in program history, while Shultz added seven points as well with six assists, tying the single-game program record set by now assistant coach
Megan Brockbank when she also finished with six assists and a goal against New Hampshire during the 2021 campaign.
WEEKLY WINNERS
After a pair of excellent performances in week one, Kuhn was named the America East Goalkeeper of the Week while Brezynskie was tabbed the conference's Rookie of the Week. Against the Jaspers, Kuhn started her season strong in net, allowing only six goals while making 11 saves on 28 shots faced, good for a .647 save percentage and her 17
th career double-digit save performance. Meanwhile, Brezynskie left her mark in her first collegiate game, posting a hat trick, including the game-winner. Not only impressing on the offensive end, but she also filled up the box score all over the field, tallying two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls.
SCOUTING CENTRAL MICHIGAN
The Chippewas enter Tuesday's contest with a 1-7 record, although three of the losses have come against ranked opponents. Leading the way for them offensively, Mia Bradley totals nine goals and nine assists, both team-highs, for 18 points. Behind her, Caye Kalbacher adds eight goals and seven assists, while Anna Farrar rounds out double-digit scorers with 10 points. In net, Leila Kahler has started all eight games, making 62 saves while allowing 113 goals for a .354 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
UAlbany enters Saturday's game with a 6-2 record and a 1-0 record in America East play, most recently taking down New Hampshire 16-9 this past Saturday. The team's primary playmaker, Ravan Marsell, paces the squad with 20 assists alongside 14 goals for 34 total points. Behind her, Paisley Cook sits first on the team with 20 goals and second with 29 total points, while Kloey Roos rounds out 20-point scorers with 18 goals and three assists alongside her team-best 10 caused turnovers and 83 draw controls. In net, Grace Cincebox has made eight starts, allowing 76 goals while making 63 saves, good for a .453 save percentage.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Tuesday marks the first match between UMass Lowell and Central Michigan, while the River Hawks and UAlbany have battled 12 times, with the Great Danes owning an 11-1 record. The River Hawks' lone win came during the 2025 season when the team took down the Great Danes 13-9 at home.
