LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell softball team travels to San Antonio, Texas this weekend for the Roadrunner Classic, hosted by UTSA. The River Hawks will face Stephen F. Austin, UTSA and Northern Colorado before advancing into bracket play.

Tournament Format
Following the three-game opening slate, teams will be seeded for Saturday's semifinals. The No. 1 seed will face the No. 4 seed at 4:30 p.m. ET, while the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds meet at 7 p.m. ET. Sunday features the consolation game at 11:30 a.m. ET and the championship game at 2 p.m. ET.

Series History
The River Hawks will meet Stephen F. Austin and Northern Colorado for the first time in program history. Lowell faced UTSA at last season's Classic, with the Roadrunners holding a 2-0 series edge.

Last Time Out
UMass Lowell is coming off a 2-3 showing at the NMSU/UTEP Invitational. The River Hawks opened the weekend against UT Arlington and New Mexico State before picking up their first win of the season on Saturday with a 10-7 decision over St. Thomas.
