LOWELL, Mass. - The UMass Lowell men's basketball team (10-15, 5-5 AE) kicks off a three-game homestand, starting Thursday, February 12, when they host the Bryant Bulldogs at the Kennedy Family Athletic Complex.

A WIN WOULD
A win against the Bulldogs would give the River Hawks the season sweep in the series and a 7-2 lead in the all-time series. A win would also move the team to a game over .500 at 6-5 in league play so far.

LAST TIME OUT
Freshman Victor Okojie registered a personal-best 22 points and 11 rebounds to log his second career double-double and help lift the UMass Lowell men's basketball team to an 89-79 America East road win at UAlbany on Feb. 7. Junior Angel Montas Jr. added 21 points on the night, while juniors Xavier Spencer and Shawn Simmons II rounded out the double-digit scorers with 18 and 11 points, respectively. As a team, the River Hawks shot 56% from the field and outrebounded the Great Danes, 35-26.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Through 25 games, Austin Green leads the way with 13.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Right behind him, Angel Montas Jr. sits second with 13.1 points per game. Xavier Spencer, who ranks third with 11.6 points per game, adds a team-high 27 steals, while Shawn Simmons II boasts 30 blocks to sit first on the team. Darrel Yepdo, the team's primary playmarker, totals a team-leading 77 assists on the season.

COMING IN HOT
After logging just two double-digit scoring games in his first 10 outings this season, Angel Montas Jr. has been on fire as of late, averaging 20.3 points in the next 11 games. He has scored at least 20 points six times in the last 12 games and his 30 points against Maine marked a new career high. He has now won two America East Player of the Week awards.

HAVING HIS MOMENT
Victor Okojie registered a personal-best 22 points and 11 rebounds to log his second career double-double at UAlbany on Feb. 7. This performance marked his second straight double-digit rebound performance and his fourth of the year. For his efforts, he was named America East Rookie of the Week.

CONTROLLING THE GLASS
The River Hawks outrebounded Maine, 46-11, on Jan. 31, not allowing the opposition to reach double-digit rebounds until well into the second half. UMass Lowell currently leads the America East with a +4.9 rebounding margin.

SHARP SHOOTERS
The River Hawks shot a conference-season best 58% from the field against Maine on Jan. 31. The team is now ranked third in the America East for field goal percentage.

SPREADING THE LOVE
The River Hawks have boasted at least four double-digit scorers on 12 occasions this year. Most recently, the team had four players score 10+ points at UAlbany on February 7.

HOME SWEET HOME
Kennedy Family Athletic Complex, formerly Costello Athletic Center, has been very kind to the home team during the last three seasons, as the River Hawks are currently 47-8 in the building since the start of the 2022-23 campaign, including 6-3 in 2025-26.
