River Hawks Welcome 19 New Additions for the 2026 Season

LOWELL, Mass. — UMass Lowell Baseball Head Coach Nick Barese has recruited 19 newcomers to the roster for the upcoming 2026 campaign. 

The River Hawks welcome Sean Canavan (Braintree, Mass.), Cal Chance (Wolcott, Conn.), Josh Doney (Lynn, Mass.), Colin Ducie (Plymouth, Mass.), Tyler Dunlea (Attleboro, Mass.), Thomas Fabbo (Peabody, Mass.), Jack Forgues (Leominster, Mass.), Hector Gonzalez (Liverpool, N.Y.), Tyler Kisling (New Milford, Conn.), Christopher Klueber (Bourne, Mass.), Seamus Scott (Lowell, Mass.), Tyler McKillop (Blue Point, N.Y.), Evan Cornelius (Milford, Mass.), Joshua Lopez (Nanuet, N.Y.), Frankie DeMaro (Newburgh, N.Y.), Will Melby Jr. (Munster, Ind.), Liam Rose (Voorhees, N.J.), Nicholas Solorzano (El Dorado Hills, Cal), and Jorge Burgos (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) to the baseball program. 

"We are thrilled about the new group added to the roster for the 2026 season," said Barese. "We are confident as a staff we've identified both high school, and transfer students that not only bring a high level of talent on the field, but fit our program from a culture standpoint."
