LOWELL, Mass. – Sophomore Avery Pitts (Willington, Conn.) has been named America East Female Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Ivy vs. America East Challenge at Dartmouth this past weekend, as announced by the conference Tuesday morning. 

At the event, Pitts shined in the high jump, clearing 1.65m to tie her personal-best mark and finish tied for first place. She now ranks third in the America East this season and has her first conference weekly award.
