KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMass Lowell men's basketball fifth year guard
Quinton Mincey (Upper Marlboro, Md.) has been named to the Division I North Atlantic All-District Second Team, as announced by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on Tuesday.
With this honor, Mincey becomes just the fourth River Hawk to earn All-District accolades at the Division I level.
Mincey was a two-time America East Player of the Week this year before earning his second consecutive All-Conference Second Team selection. He put together the best campaign of his tenure, boasting a team- and career-high 16.8 points per game. He finished the 2024-25 season second on the team with 6.3 rebounds per game and 88 assists, in addition to chipping in with 18 steals and 14 blocks. The guard set a new personal best with 17 rebounds at UMBC on February 1. He also reached the 1,000 career points milestone this season against Maine on January 23 after logging a career-high 31 points against Quinnipiac on November 23. Overall, he registered 16, 20-point games and 11 double-doubles in his final year.
The All-District Teams are selected and voted on by NCAA Division I member coaches of the NABC. Mincey was one of just five America East student-athletes to earn NABC All-District accolades this season.
