LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's basketball team (3-18, 1-8 AE) gets ready to host conference opponent, Binghamton (11-11, 3-6 AE) on Thursday, February 6 with tipoff set for 6 p.m. The River Hawks will be dedicating the contest to Morgan's Message.

Last Time Out for the River Hawks 
UMass Lowell most recently played UMBC at home, falling 56-48 to the Retrievers. Sophomore Abbey Lindsey (Staten Island, N.Y.) posted a team high of 13 points. Lindsey went 6-for-12 from the field, while grabbing three rebounds, two steals and one assist. Sophomore Maddie Rice (Charlottesville, Va.) followed with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. As a team, the River Hawks outshot the Retrievers from the floor, 38.0% to 33.3%.   

Scouting the Bearcats 
In their most recent contest, Binghamton fell to UAlbany, 65-54. Bella Pucci earned a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds. She went 6-for-12 from the field, while also earning five steals and two assists.  

Jadyn Weltz is averaging 9.8 points per game and Pucci is averaging 5.8 rebounds per game to lead Binghamton. Weltz also notches the most assists and steals with 63 and 44 respectively. Kendall Bennett has 14 blocks so far for the Bearcats.

Lindsey averages 11.1 points per game and Rice averages 6.1 rebounds per game to lead the team. Redshirt-senior Sydney Watkins (Indianapolis, Ind.) has recorded 59 assists and 60 steals, with sophomore Rayne Durant (New Haven, Conn.) earning 19 blocks on the season.

Watkins continues to hold first place in the America East for steals, averaging 3.0 per game to help the River Hawks clinch second place, averaging 8.43 per game.
