LOWELL, Mass. – Senior Sean Kennedy-Wonneberger (East Haddam, Conn.) and freshman Will Conklin (Danvers, Mass.) of the UMass Lowell men's cross country team each earned America East weekly awards for their performances this past weekend at the Princeton Fall Classic. 

Kennedy-Wonneberger zoomed his way to Performer of the Week honors after a top-25 finish in the 8k race with a time of 23:37.6. This marks a new personal-best for Kennedy-Wonneberger as he helped lead the squad to a 13th place finish out of 31 teams.

Conklin also shined, leading all freshman River Hawks with a 130th-place finish. He crossed the finish line in 24:42.5 on his way to his second Rookie of the Week award. 

Next, the River Hawks will gear up for the CCSU Mini Meet at Central Connecticut State on Friday, October 24.
