LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's basketball team (3-16, 1-6 AE) prepares for two home contests. First, the team hosts Field Trip Day versus NJIT (6-14, 3-4 AE) on Thursday, January 30 with tipoff scheduled for 11 a.m. Next, the River Hawks will take on UMBC (8-10, 1-5 AE) on Saturday, February 1 with tipoff set for 1 p.m. in a game dedicated to raising awareness to Breast Cancer.

Last Time Out for the River Hawks

NJIT recently played UAlbany, falling to the Great Danes, 75-59. Enya Maguire and Olivia Kulyk each recorded a team high of 14 points, while Maguire also was tabbed for a team best of seven rebounds.
Alejandra Zuniga is currently averaging 16.8 points per game and Trinity Williams averages 6.1 rebounds per game to lead the Highlanders. Zuniga also ranks first for assists with 68 on the season. Maguire has earned the most steals with 27 and Madilyn Dogs wraps up the stat sheet with 14 blocks.
