BOSTON, Mass. – The UMass Lowell softball team finished in a draw for fourth in the 2025 America East Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
The River Hawks ended their 2024 season 17-29 overall and went 8-11 in conference play to result in 13 points overall with one first-place vote.
UAlbany (23), Binghamton (22) and Bryant (14) claimed the top three spots, with UMass Lowell (13), UMBC (13) and Maine (5) rounding out the conference.
Opening day for the 2025 season will be on Friday, February 7 as the River Hawks will face Weber State in the UTSA Tournament at 10:30 a.m. on Roadrunner Field.
