LOWELL, Mass. – UMass Lowell women's soccer head coach
Mira Novak has unveiled the 2024 fall schedule. The River Hawks open the 16-game season on Thursday, August 15 against Merrimack at Cushing Field.
After a week off, UMass Lowell will travel to Boston University on August 22 before a visit to Holy Cross on August 25. The River Hawks return home to host LSU on August 29 to close out the month.
Rhode Island will come to Lowell on September 1 before another week off for UMass Lowell. The River Hawks will play two games over two weeks, first visiting Central Connecticut on September 8 before a Kennedy Cup matchup with Massachusetts on September 15.
The month of September wraps up with two home games for UMass Lowell. Dartmouth comes to town for a Saturday matchup on September 21 before the River Hawks host UMBC on September 29 to open the conference slate.
UMass Lowell will head to Orono for a rematch of last season's America East Championship game to take on Maine on October 3 before heading to Albany to play the Great Danes on October 6. The River Hawks will have a week off again before hosting Vermont on October 13 and New Hampshire on October 16 at Cushing Field.
The final road trip of the regular season will see UMass Lowell travel to NJIT for a Sunday afternoon contest on October 20 before heading to Vestal to take on Binghamton on October 27. The regular season concludes with the River Hawks hosting Bryant on Thursday, October 31.
The America East Tournament with begin with the quarterfinal games on November 3 and the semifinal games slated for November 7. The America East Championship will be played on Sunday, November 10.
UMass Lowell has made the America East Tournament each of the last six years and have made championship game appearances in 2018 and 2023.
