LOWELL, Mass. - The UMass Lowell men's lacrosse team (0-6, 0-1 AE) hits the road again to take on the Bryant Bulldogs (4-3, 0-1 AE) on Saturday, March 23. Opening faceoff is set for 3:30 p.m. at Beirne Stadium.

Garrett Murphy (Billerica, Mass.) scored a career-best four goals, as the UMass Lowell men's lacrosse team (0-6, 0-1 AE) fell to the UAlbany Great Danes (3-4, 1-0 AE), 19-8, in the conference opener on Saturday afternoon. Murphy, who tallied his second multi-goal game of the season, was one of five River Hawks to find the back of the net. Freshmen

LEADING THE FLOCK
Twelve River Hawks find themselves in the points column after five games, with freshman
James Donnelly (Ottawa, Ontario) and Sears leading the way with 11 points each. Following them, Murphy tallies a team-high seven goals alongside 10 ground balls. Meanwhile, behind them, junior
Riley Lawhorn (Amherst, N.H.), Frigon, and Soi have all netted five goals through six games this season. Senior
Jack Bird (Buffalo, N.Y.) has had a strong start to the season at the X, posting a .556 faceoff win percentage, good for fourth in the America East, while also leading the squad with 36 ground balls. Defensively, junior
Alexander Chairs (Ellicott City, Md.) leads his squad with five caused turnovers, and in net Pav has made 61 saves in six starts.

AMERICA EAST HONORS
Following their impressive performances in the season opener against Holy Cross on February 10, Bird was named the America East Faceoff Specialist of the Week, while Frigon took home America East Rookie of the Week honors. Two weeks later, Donnelly was tabbed the America East Rookie of the Week after finding the back of the net twice and adding an assist against Siena.

SCOUTING BRYANT
The Bulldogs welcome the River Hawks to town following a 13-12 loss in overtime to UMBC last weekend. The Bryant offense is led by sophomore midfielder Johnny Hackett who posts a team-best 27 points, while attack Jack Lonsinger paces the team with 17 goals on the season. On defense, junior Drew Lucas owns a team-high 11 caused turnovers and adds 19 ground balls. In net, three goaltenders have made appearances this season, with Teagan Alexander leading the way with 47 saves and 50 goals allowed in 253 minutes.
