Calliste Brookshire (Kingston, Mass.), senior
Emma Mitchell (West Orange, N.J.), senior
Hope Santaniello (Agawam, Mass.), junior
Maddie Guthrie (Stow, Mass.), and sophomore
Luka Marceau (Newton, Mass.).
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Brookshire, pursuing her MBA in the Manning School of Business, finished up her final season as a River Hawk this fall. She set the all-time assist record for UMass Lowell at the Division I level now with 18. This forward also has the most assists in a season with eight earned in 2023 and is tied with the most assists in a game with two earned versus NJIT on October 30, 2023. In her last season as a River Hawk, Brookshire led the team with 14 points, along with four goals and six assists, starting in all 19 games.
Mitchell is obtaining her undergraduate in education from the School of Education. This defender scored her first goal as a River Hawk this season (versus Vermont on October 13, 2024). Mitchell concluded her final season starting in 18 of 19 games, with five points. She earned America East Defensive Player of the Week and River Hawk of the Week on October 14.
Santaniello is receiving her undergraduate degree from the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences in liberal arts. In her last season as a River Hawk, Santaniello totaled seven points on three goals and one assist. This forward started in 17 of her 19 games played.
Guthrie is majoring in applied biomedical science from the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences. She played a major role in the River Hawks' lineup, starting in 15 of her 19 games played on the backline and in the midfield this season.
Marceau is studying business administration. This forward is a reliable piece to the River Hawks, seeing time in 19 games this season.
