LOOKING AT UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks enter Thursday's matchup looking to snap a three-game losing skid and even the season series against the Black Bears. UMass Lowell has not played since last Thursday, a 63-53 defeat at Vermont. In the previous meeting with Maine, Abbey Lindsey and Gabby Ross led the squad with 10 points each while Sydney Watkins and Rayne Durant combined for 15 points and 11 rebounds. The River Hawks have lost four straight games against Maine with the team's last victory coming on the road in January 2022.

SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
Maine sits second in the conference with a 6-1 record in league play heading into Thursday. The Black Bear's only loss in conference this season came at the hands of undefeated UAlbany last Thursday. Maine bounced back with a narrow win over Binghamton on Saturday, a 59-56 road victory. Adrianna Smith is averaging a double-double while Anne Simon leads the team averaging 17.5 points per game and 54 steals.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire is currently eight in America East with a 2-6 mark in league play. The Wildcats earned back-to-back wins over NJIT and UMBC before dropping contests against Binghamton and UAlbany. Earlier this season, the River Hawks defeated UNH 70-53 at Costello. Adara Gorman and Breezie Williams lead the team averaging 7.2 points per game. The Wildcats average 54.8 points per game, eighth in the league, and allow 60.5 points per game, fifth in the league.

HOT STREAK
Sydney Watkins, Mili Carrera and Rayne Durant have been leading the River Hawks over the last five games, putting up impressive numbers. Watkins has posted 10.8 points on 57% shooting, 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals. Carrera has put up 10.2 points, 33% shooting from three, 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks. Rayne Durant has been a key figure for the River Hawks this season and has added 11.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 79% shooting from the free throw line over the last five games.

A WIN WOULD
A win would snap a four-game losing streak to Maine and even the series. A win over New Hampshire would sweep the season series.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Mili Carrera leads the squad averaging 10.0 points per game while Sydney Watkins leads the rebounding unit with 5.9 per game. Rayne Durant is the team's leading blocker with 20 on the season. Mili Carrera, Leilani Rodriguez and Cire Worley are shooting over 33% from three. Worley leads the team at the free throw line shooting 85% going 17-20. Watkins leads the team with 56 steals and 60 assists through 19 games.

INTO THE RECORD BOOK
Sydney Watkins has led the squad in assists all season, dishing out 55 on the year to sit fourth in the league. The redshirt-junior tallied 10 assists against NJIT on Thursday, January 11 to become the first River Hawk to do so in six years. Watkins is now tied for first in Division I program history and tied for sixth in program history for her performance against NJIT.
