LOWELL, Mass. - The UMass Lowell men's lacrosse team (0-11, 0-5 AE) treks to Vermont (7-4, 5-0 AE) to close out its regular-season road schedule on Saturday, April 22.

LAST TIME OUT
Saturday will mark the second-straight road game for the River Hawks, as the team also visited Holy Cross this week. In that outing, the River Hawks led, 8-4, at the half, but it was a six-goal fourth quarter that propelled the Crusaders to the 13-9 comeback decision on April 18. Sophomore Riley Lawhorn (Amherst, N.H.) kept his scoring streak alive with his third hat trick of the season to lead the River Hawks' offensive effort in that contest. The midfielder added an assist to bring his end-of-the-night total to a team-high four points. Behind Lawhorn, five River Hawks finished with two points each, with graduate student Sean Parker (Flemington, N.J.) picking up two goals. Freshman Ben Roberts (Tenafly, N.J.), junior Curtis Redd (Amherst, N.H.) and graduate student Dakota Clark (Bedford, N.H.) all matched Parker's two-point night with a goal and a helper. On the other end of the field, freshman Luke Renaud (Skaneateles, N.Y.) earned the nod once again, making a season-high 24 saves in the cage.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Riley Lawhorn and senior Nick Harvath (Whitmore Lake, Mich.) sit atop the River Hawks' scoreboard with 22 and 21 points, respectively, this season. Lawton paces the squad with 20 goals, becoming just the second River Hawk since 2018 to reach the 20-goal milestone. Harvath leads the team in helpers with 11. Junior Jake Davis (Franklin, Mass.), along with Sean Parker, Ben Roberts and Curtis Redd have all hit double-digit points this year, as well. On defense, sophomore Alexander Chairs (Ellicott City, Md.) leads the team with seven caused turnovers, just five shy of his career high. Faceoff specialist freshman Devin German (Acton, Mass.) has become the go-to at the X, posting 79 wins and a .395 faceoff percentage. The rookie also leads the team with 51 groundball pickups. In the cage, Luke Renaud totals 159 saves with a .470 save percentage.

GONE STREAKING
Riley Lawhorn hasn't missed the back of the cage since the second game of the year, holding onto a team-high, 10-game point and goal streak. Sean Parker currently owns a six-game point streak, as well.

A WIN WOULD
A win would give UMass Lowell its first victory of the season, in addition to marking Head Coach Drew Kelleher's first win at the helm of the River Hawks.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Catamounts lead the River Hawks in the all-time series, 7-1. The River Hawks' victory came in 2019, when they earned an 8-4 decision at home.
