LOWELL, Mass.—Making a quick turnaround from Saturday night, the UMass Lowell men's lacrosse team (0-10, 0-5 America East) hits the road on Tuesday, April 18, for a non-conference clash with Holy Cross (0-12, 0-7 Patriot League). Faceoff is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Not much time has passed since the last time the River Hawks hit the turf. On Friday, UMass Lowell hosted rivals Merrimack for their first-ever conference showdown, falling 13-10 in a tightly-fought game. Jake Davis and Curtis Redd led the team with two goals each. Nick Harvath and Dakota Clark both put up two-point outings with a goal and a helper. Riley Lawhorn, Ben Roberts, Sean Parker and Brian Wiles all tacked on goals against the Warriors. Jackson Dean rounded out the score sheet with an assist in the tilt. Defensively, Alexander Chairs led the way for UMass Lowell with a career-best three caused turnovers. Goalie Luke Renaud and faceoff specialist Devin German both capped their night with a team-high four ground balls each.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Nick Harvath continues his impressive season atop the River Hawks' scoreboard with a team-best 19 points across his eight games. With nine assists, Harvath also leads the team in helpers, followed next by freshman Ben Roberts with five. Riley Lawhorn hit the ground running this season and has not looked back, tacking on a team-high 17 goals thus far in his sophomore campaign to bring his season point total to 18. Jake Davis, Sean Parker and Ben Roberts have also hit double-digits this year. Davis sits in third with 13, followed by Parker with 12 and Roberts with 10. On defense, Alexander Chairs leads the team with seven caused turnovers, just five shy of his career high. Faceoff specialist Devin German has become the go-to at the X, posting 78 wins and a .400 faceoff percentage. The rookie also leads the team with 50 groundball pickups. In the cage, Luke Renaud has gotten the nod in 10 straight games. After Saturday, he has a 16.35 GAA and a .470 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
The Crusaders are still on the hunt for their first win of the season, holding onto a 0-12 (0-7 Patriot League) record. Thomas McIntire has been an offensive weapon for the Crusaders this year, leading the team with 43 points off his squad-best 34 goals and an added nine helpers. Next in line in the points column, Dean DiNanno sits with 26 points this season. He currently leads Holy Cross with 16 helpers. Freshman Julian Jenkins leads the Crusaders' defense with 10 caused turnovers this year. At the X, Jordan Naso and Connnor DePiero have split the responsibilities. DePiero holds the slight edge over Naso with a .420 win rate, but Naso takes the advantage in ground ball pickups with 33. In goal, Dawson Friers has been the starter for the Crusaders. In 12 games, Friers has amassed a 16.19 GAA and a .508 save percentage.

GONE STREAKING
Several River Hawks have maintained point and goal streaks this season. Riley Lawhorn hasn't missed the back of the cage since the second game of the year, holding onto a team-high nine-game point and goal streak. Sean Parker currently owns a five-game point streak, followed by Dakota Clark and Jake Davis who have picked up points in their last four outings.

A WIN WOULD
A win would give UMass Lowell its first victory of the season as well as it's first against Holy Cross. A win would also be Head Coach Drew Kelleher's first at the helm of the River Hawks.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The River Hawks have yet to earn a win against Holy Cross, sitting at a 0-3 all-time mark. The last two games have been decided by just one goal.

UP NEXT
UMass Lowell ships up to Vermont on Saturday, April 22, for its penultimate regular season game of the season. Faceoff is set for noon.
