Wednesday, March 8 vs. Jacksonville: Live Stats | Watch

LOWELL, Mass. – Looking to finish off a 2-0 trip, the UMass Lowell women's lacrosse team (5-2) will take on the Jacksonville Dolphins (2-3) on Wednesday night at Rock Stadium.

LAST TIME OUT
UMass Lowell enters the week with a 5-2 record after taking down Stetson, 16-13, on Sunday afternoon. Leading the River Hawks in scoring was sophomore Jade Catlin (Middletown, Md.) who tallied four goals and two assists. Behind her, junior Megan Brockbank (Bayport, N.Y.) totaled three goals and two assists. Also collecting hat tricks in the game were senior Molly Shaw (Marshfield, Mass.) and freshman Macy Shultz (Adams, N.Y.), each finding the back of the net three times. Senior Julia Napolitano (Oakdale, N.Y.) paced the River Hawks with eight draw controls while adding three ground balls collected. In net, freshman Hannah Shaddock (Corning, N.Y.) made six saves.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Catlin leads the River Hawks through seven games with 29 points off a team-best 12 assists and 17 goals. Right behind Catlin, Shaw totals 18 points to rank second on the squad and currently paces the team with 18 goals. Junior Emerson Laundry (Swampscott, Mass.) leads the defense with a team-high 13 caused turnovers. On the draw, Napolitano's 33 draw control victories pace the team, with Laundry sitting behind her with 26 on the season.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING
After scoring her 83rd career goal earlier in the season against Stonehill, senior Izzy Liquori (Agawam, Mass.) surpassed Taylor Sokol to become the UMass Lowell all-time goal scorer. With three goals against Sacred Heart, the senior now sits only 14 goals away from becoming the first River Hawk to find the back of the net 100 times.

SCOUTING JACKSONVILLE
The Dolphins welcome the River Hawks to town following a 10-9 victory over Arizona State. Attack Sarah Elms has been the main scorer for Jacksonville, totaling 19 goals and two assists for 21 points. Behind her, Grace Hobson has been the primary playmaker totaling a team-high 11 assists. In net, senior Addy Tysdal has started all five games, making 38 saves for a .447 save percentage in 233 minutes of action.

A WIN WOULD
A win against Jacksonville would move the River Hawks to 6-2, tying the best start in program history. It would also give UMass Lowell its first win against the Dolphins.

JACKSONVILLE MATCHUP HISTORY
The River Hawks and Dolphins only met once in the 2016 season when the Dolphins earned a 16-2 victory.

CONFERENCE HONORS
Continuing her hot streak, Audra Hansen tallied four goals over the last week to earn her second straight America East Rookie of the Week (2/27, 3/6). It is the team's fourth weekly honor, with Shaddock earning Rookie of the Week twice (2/13, 2/20).
