BOSTON, Mass. – After tallying four goals, three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 1-1 week, UMass Lowell women's lacrosse freshman Audra Hansen (Stamford, Conn.) has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday Afternoon.
 
In Wednesday's match against Quinnipiac, Hansen found the back of the net twice in the first half while also contributing with two ground balls collected and a caused turnover. In Sunday's victory over Stetson, the rookie continued her hot streak, posting two more goals alongside a ground ball and two caused turnovers.

This marks the second straight week that Hansen has been named the America East Rookie of the Week, and the fourth straight week a River Hawk has garnered the award. The River Hawks are set to finish their spring break trip with a match against #22 Jacksonville on Wednesday, March 8, at 7 p.m.
