The River Hawks fell in a sixth straight conference game after dropping a home contest to Bryant on Saturday by a score of 63-54.
Amaya Dowdy recorded her third double double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The sophomore has led the league in blocks virtually all season and has been a key figure for the River Hawks. Fellow sophomore
Ivory Finley added 17 points of her own, hitting double figures for the 12th time this season. UMass Lowell will look to pick up an important win the chase for a postseason berth.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton enters Saturday's contest after dropping two straight league games against UAlbany and NJIT. Prior to the two-game skid, the Bearcats had won three straight and currently sit in sixth place in the conference standings. Three players average double figures with Denai Bowman leading the way with 12.8 points per game. Bowman also leads the team with 24 blocks and has recorded 86 assists and 53 steals as Binghamton's most efficient player. Jadyn Weltz has a team-high 108 assists this season. Binghamton rebounds the ball well, sitting second in the league in combined team rebounds and leading the league in defensive rebounds. The Bearcats also have the best turnover margin in the league.
