LOOKING AT UMASS LOWELL

The River Hawks went 0-3 last week, falling to Boston College, Brown and Massachusetts to drop to 0-9 on the season. UMass Lowell has played just one home game this season and will return for a five-game stretch at Costello over the next four weeks. Abbey Lindsey leads the team averaging 10.0 points per game while Sydney Watkins has been solid all season, averaging 7.2 points and a team-high 7.0 rebounds through nine games. Maddie Rice and Cire Worley have found a scoring touch lately, each setting career highs last week. Mili Carrera is back in the lineup and shooting the ball well, averaging 9.3 points per game.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN

Dartmouth is 4-4 this season and has won back-to-back games over Navy and Merrimack. The Big Green fell to America East opponents UAlbany, Bryant and Vermont while beating New Hampshire. Victoria Page leads the team averaging 9.2 points while Doreen Ariik has been key on both sides of the ball, averaging 9.1 points and 10.0 rebounds per game and a team-high 16 blocks. The Big Green shot 46% from the field and 75% from behind the arc against the Great Danes on Tuesday.

INSTANT IMPACT

Sydney Watkins has stepped into a leadership role in her first season with the River Hawks and has been a key figure right from the start. The redshirt-junior is averaging 7.2 points and 7.4 rebounds through nine games and has made big shots this season. All five freshman have seen time on the floor already this season and have all contributed. Abbey Lindsey, Gabby Ross, Maddie Rice and Cire Worley have given the River Hawks a solid guard rotation while Rayne Durant has been big in the paint, tallying 10 blocks so far.

A WIN WOULD

A win would be the first victory of the season for the River Hawks and the first win in program history over Dartmouth.

LEADING THE FLOCK

Abbey Lindsey leads the team in scoring through nine games while Sydney Watkins has a team-high 30 steals and 28 assists. Rayne Durant's 10 blocks leads the squad. Lindsey is shooting 33% with 13 made 3FGs while Cire Worley is a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line.
