LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell women's basketball team (2-16, 1-7 AE) returns to the Tsongas Center to take on the New Hampshire Wildcats (5-14, 0-7 AE) on Saturday night. Tip-off is slated for 5:00 p.m. following a senior night celebration. Saturday will also be the River Hawks' breast cancer awareness game, with the team donning special t-shirts prior to tip.

The River Hawks fell to the Maine Black Bears on Wednesday afternoon, dropping to 1-7 in conference play.
Mili Carrera had 16 points off the bench and added five rebounds, two assists, one steals and one block.
Ivory Finley added 12 points while
Amaya Dowdy scored seven and picked up four rebounds and three blocks. UMass Lowell fell to 0-2 against Maine this season.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire has yet to win a conference game this season, falling to 0-7 in league action after dropping a 65-52 road contest at UAlbany on Wednesday night. Avery O'Connor leads the team averaging 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game through 19 games this season. Brooke Kane is also averaging double figures at 11.7 points per game and just under six rebounds per game. Kane also leads the team with 20 blocks on the year, sitting fifth in the conference. The Wildcats average 16.7 turnovers per game and are tied with UMass Lowell for 9th in the league with a .51 assist/turnover ratio.
