LOOKING AT UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks wrapped up their road trip last week with an 0-1-1 record. UMass Lowell fell to #14 Auburn 4-1 before playing to a 1-1 draw against Hartford. Sophomore Ioanna Papatheodorou (Nea Erithraia, Greece) scored the goal against the Tigers and graduate student Dunja Mostarac (Belgrade, Serbia) scored a late goal against Hartford to rescue a point. The River Hawks will look to get back to winning ways after going 0-1-2 in their last three games. Papatheodorou leads the team with five goals and 12 points this season. Juniors Calliste Brookshire (Kingston, Mass.) and Chloe Layne (Wrentham, Mass.) each have three goals and one assist for seven points. Seven other River Hawks have tallied a point this season.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth enters Sunday's contest on a three-game win streak with wins over LIU, Fairfield and Vermont. Allie Winstanley leads the team with six goals and 14 points this season. Aleena Seales has tallied three goals in seven appearances, the second most on the team. Charlotte Cyr has started all seven games in goal for the Big Green, recording a 5-1-1 record. Cyr has conceded seven goals and made 39 saves this season.

MATCHUP HISTORY
The River Hawks are 0-5 against Dartmouth dating back to 2013. The Big Green have won all five meetings by a combined score of 13-3 with two victories in Lowell.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Ioanna Papatheodorou was the leading scorer in the league last season, tallying 10 goals for 20 points. The sophomore is already halfway to reaching that mark again with five goals through eight games. She has added two assists to total a team-high 12 points. The River Hawks will look to their star striker for more production as the conference slate is around the corner. Paptheodorou sits second in the league in shots and shots on goal while leading the way in goals and points.

VETERAN CORE
The River Hawks have returned four veteran members of the team this season in Emily Nelson, graduate students Dunja Mostarac and Lily Fabian and redshirt senior Chaima Khammar. The veteran leadership group has been key in getting the newcomers acclimated and raising the level of play on the field. Having been through several seasons, the group leads by example on and off the field.

INSTANT IMPACT
Several newcomers have already made an impact on the River Hawks this season. Freshmen Sophie St. George (Walpole, Mass.) and Nadja Andersen (Nakskov, Denmark) have seen game action in every game this season, each registering one assist and driving the offense forward. Freshman goalkeeper Bára Beránková (Hradec Králove, Czech Republic) has made three appearances in goal, including back-to-back starts against #14 Auburn and Hartford. The rookie has made 10 saves on the year.
