Down in Williamsburg, several River Hawks snagged top-eight and career-best marks at the IC4A/ECAC Championships. Graduate student Daniel Cosgrove (Boxford, Mass.) grabbed eighth in the men's 1,500-meter after posting a 3:47.73 finish for UMass Lowell. Senior Joseph Walsh (Auburn, Mass.) and sophomore Joe Young (Dorcester, Mass.) turned in standout showings in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for UMass Lowell. The duo went four-five in the event, with Walsh crossing in 9:07.56 and Young in 9:12.45. On top of his fifth-place performance, Young also set a new personal best in the long-distance race.
