BOSTON–Following a standout performance in the 2022 season opener, UMass Lowell men's lacrosse junior Conor Foley (Walpole, Mass.) has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Foley registered a league-best seven points on Saturday in the River Hawks' home-opening tilt against non-conference foe Quinnipiac. The attacker led the team on offense, registering a career-high four goals alongside three assists. Two of Foley's tallies came at critical moments for the River Hawks with one coming on the man-up chance and the other tying the game late in the fourth.
 
On top of his seven points, Foley also picked up a pair of groundballs and forced two turnovers against the Bobcats.
 
The weekly award marks the first of the season for the River Hawks and the third of Foley's career.
