LOWELL, Mass. - As part of the department's celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, the UMass Lowell Athletics Department will host the first ever Women's River Hawk Golf Open on Thursday, June 23. This tournament will honor and celebrate the successes of UMass Lowell women's athletics programs and provide an opportunity for women to connect with peers.

th anniversary of the passage of Title IX," said UMass Lowell Field Hockey Head Coach
Shannon LeBlanc. "As a department, we are so looking forward to taking the opportunity to bring back many generations of alumnae and great advocates for women's athletics at UMass Lowell to help us honor our past and celebrate our present."
The event will feature an 18-hole tournament with a shotgun start, followed by lunch with a raffle and silent auction.
The tournament will be held at Four Oaks Country Club in Dracut, Mass. Four Oaks Country Club is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course located in the heart of the Merrimack Valley. With breathtaking views and upscale conditions, the course offers an enjoyable experience for both novice and expert players.
