LOOKING AT UMASS LOWELL
The River Hawks have started the season 0-7 with an 0-3 record at home and 0-4 on the road. UMass Lowell fell to Fairleigh Dickinson 62-48 last time out.
Mili Carrera and
Jaini Edmonds each scored 13 points to lead the team. Carrera went 3-3 from behind the arc while Edmonds added three rebounds and two assists. The River Hawks had a season-low 13 turnovers against the Knights.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Central Connecticut enters Wednesdayís contest following a 58-54 victory over America East member Bryant. The Blue Devils have also beaten Saint Peterís earlier this season. Central has played a few opponents that UMass Lowell has faced this season, dropping games against Brown and UMass. Dejah Jenkins leads the team averaging 12.2 points per game and has avergaed 6.0 rebounds per game. Forever Toppin is once again a reliable player on both ends of the floor for Central Connecticut, avergaing 7.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. As a unit, the Blue Devils are shooting 35% from the field and 28% from distance through seven games this season.
A WIN WOULD
A win would be a fourth win over Central Connecticut in program history and a third straight win against the Blue Devils. A win would also be the first win of the season for the River Hawks.

Kaylen Banwareesingh leads the team averaging 10.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. The senior is shooting 36% from the field to lead the River Hawks.
Jaini Edmonds shooting 34% from the field and a team-high 42% from behind the arc. Edmondsí 11 made threes is also a team-high.
Ivory Finley leads the team with 12 steals while
Jaliena Sanchez has 10 this season.
Amaya Dowdy has totaled 10 blocks to lead the team, including five againt Fairleigh Dickinson.
