LOWELL, Mass. – Sophomore
Ioanna Papatheodorou (Nea Erithraia, Greece) adds yet another accolade to her resume as she has been named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's All-Atlantic Region Team.
"It is a testament to our team and the program in general to have an all-region player for the third year in a row, especially considering what a strong region we are in," said head coach
Mira Novak. "Ioanna fully deserves the recognition given her attacking contribution to the team."
Papatheodorou is one of seven America East student-athletes selected and one of two named to the All-Atlantic Region Second Team. The sophomore finished the 2022 campaign tying her rookie year total with 10 goals. She also led the team with 24 points and was tied for the team lead with four assists.
