LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell men's soccer team (2-6-3, 0-2-1 AE) returns home this week to take on the Yale Bulldogs (5-1-3, 1-1 Ivy) at Cushing Field on Tuesday, October 11, at 7 p.m. The River Hawks continue conference play as they take the road to battle the Binghamton Bearcats (2-6-4, 0-1-2 AE) at the Bearcats Sports Complex on Saturday, October 15, at 1 p.m.

IMMEDIATE IMPACT
The program's newest members have already made a huge impact only a few games into the season. Eight newcomers have started at least one game, while Byrkjeland leads the team in goals and points and ranks second in assists. Other new faces with at least a point include Torres and freshmen
Daragh Reilly (Navan, Ireland) and Iñaki Esnaola (Junin, Argentina).
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Yale comes to Lowell following a 3-1 victory over Princeton. Forward Paolo Carrol leads Yale's offense with a team-high seven goals and 14 points, while midfielder Max Rogers has a team-high three assists. In net, senior Elian Haddock has 39 saves with 1.33 goals against average in over 800 minutes of action.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Tuesday will be only the second time that Yale and UMass Lowell have faced off. The last time the two teams played was back in 2021, when the River Hawks traveled to Yale. In that game, current sophomore
Jonathan Ferreira (Ashland, Mass.) logged an assist in a 4-1 loss.

Binghamton welcomes the River Hawks to town following a 0-0 tie to conference opponent UAlbany. Midfielder Markos Touroukis leads the Bearcats' offense with seven points off three goals and an assist. Right behind him is forward Matthew Cozetti and midfielder Anthony Lazaridis, who each have five points. Binghamton's primary goalkeeper has been Mats Roorda, who has 30 saves and a 1.02 goals allowed average in nine starts.
