Lisa Miller has announced her team's 17-game schedule for the 2022 season.

For the third straight year, the River Hawks will start the season at home. Their first home contest features a clash against Kennedy Cup rival Massachusetts on February 12. Following the home opener, UMass Lowell will head on the road for the first time as they head down to Worcester, Mass., to take on Holy Cross on February 18.

After a home game against Marist on February 20, the River Hawks head out on a three-week road trip, starting at UConn (Feb. 25), followed by games at Sacred Heart (Feb. 27), Mercer (March 6), Wofford (March 9), and Quinnipiac (March 12).

Returning to the friendly confines of Cushing Field, UMass Lowell opens America East play with a tilt against Vermont on March 19, followed by a trip to New Hampshire on March 26. The River Hawks then start the last month of play with a home game against UMBC on April 2 and then a road trip out to Bryant (April 6) and Binghamton (April 9).

To round out the regular season, UMass Lowell hosts three of their final four games. The River Hawks will host Merrimack (April 13) and defending America East champions Stony Brook (April 16), before taking the final regular season road trip to UAlbany on April 23.

The River Hawks then cap their season with a non-conference showdown against Brown on April 26. The team will then await their postseason fate with the start of the America East Championships set for May 5. Â
