UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The UMass Lowell men's basketball team continues its road swing this week with a pair of games at the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase.

A WIN WOULD
A win against the Cowboys would earn the River Hawks their first ever 3-0 start since 2012-13. It would also mark the team's first ever win against a Big 12 opponent. A win against CCSU would mark the second straight for UMass Lowell in that series.

LEADING THE FLOCK
Justin Faison has averaged a team-best 16.5 points per game through the first two outings in 2021-22. John Hall adds a team-best 6.5 rebounds per game, while Everette Hammond boasts six steals.

LAST TIME OUT
Justin Faison put up a game-high 21 points, as UMass Lowell pulled out a hard-fought victory at Dayton in front of a ruckus crowd of over 13,000 on Nov. 13. Although the River Hawks led by as many as 11 early in the second half, the contest was a battle from start to finish with six total lead changes and four tied scores. The Flyers' Elijah Weaver made back-to-back threes to put the home team on top for the final time with just over a minute to go, but Allin Blunt converted at the line with 35 seconds on the clock to help secure the victory.

OFF AND RUNNING
With the win at Dayton, the River Hawks earned their first 2-0 start to a season at the Division I level, in addition to the program's second ever victory against an Atlantic 10 opponent.

CROWDSOURCING
The River Hawks fed off the energy of the sold out crowd at UD Arena on Nov. 13. The 13,407 in the stands marked a new record to see a UMass Lowell win.

DEFENSE WINS GAMES
This year, Coach Duquette has made defense a huge point of emphasis for his program, which typically leads the America East in several offensive categories. So far, the River Hawks are pacing the league in scoring defense.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL
So far this year, UMass Lowell owns a 2-0 record when leading at halftime.

IT'S ABOUT TIME
The River Hawks played in front of a home crowd for the first time in 620 days on Nov. 9 against Rivier. With an attendance of 780, the program set a DI record for Costello Athletic Center.

SHARING IS CARING
Of the 11 River Hawks who hit the court against Rivier, 10 scored at least five points.

STEALING THE SHOW
