A WIN WOULD
A win against the Flyers would earn the River Hawks their first ever 2-0 start at the Division I level. It would also mark the team's second win against an Atlantic 10 opponent.
LEADING THE FLOCK
Everette Hammond paced the River Hawks with 18 points on 4-for-6 shooting from beyond the arc in the 2021-22 season opener.
John Hall added a team-high eight rebounds, while

Led by an 18-point performance from
Everette Hammond, UMass Lowell turned in a complete team effort to defeat Rivier University, 91-55, in the 2021-22 season opener. Hammond shot 63.6% (7-11) from the floor.
Justin Faison and
John Hall totaled 12 and 11 points, respectively, while
Quinton Mincey also reached double digits with 10. As a team, the River Hawks shot 50% (35-70) and pulled down 48 boards.

The River Hawks, who have ranked in the top two in the America East in shooting percentage for the previous three years, shot 50% from the field against Rivier.
