River Hawks Facial Coverings for You and the Community

Program benefits you and the community with free donation to community members in need
Through a partnership with University Advancement, and in conjunction with the UMass Lowell Alumni Virtual Village, the River Hawks are pleased to announce the River Hawk Facial Covering to do our part in the battle against COVID-19, while helping people show their River Hawk pride and unite as a community.  Get Yours Now
For a contribution of $20 or more, you can receive a River Hawk face covering, and UMass will donate a second one to a local community organization for free. The face coverings are River Hawk blue, with alternating River Hawks and UMass Lowell logos (See Here). These River Hawk coverings are three layers of premium protection (two cotton layers of soft cotton and an outer layer of polyester), and feature adjustable ear straps and a metal nose piece (so it forms around your nose to avoid the glasses fog). They can be ordered in three different sizes to ensure a fit for all ages.
Not only does you River Hawk facial shield help you do your part, it directly benefits the underserved in our community with a donation in kind. For each mask you receive another will be donated to a community partner. In addition, your donation includes a component to support our River Hawk Student Athletes through the United in Blue Fund, and the UMass Lowell Emergency Fund.

This program works in conjunction with a partner program led by staff and student volunteers to provide cloth face coverings for area non-profits at no cost. Volunteers have already produced thousands of face coverings for the Greater Lowell Boys & girls Club, Lowell Senior Center, Lowell Community Health Center and more.
