MANCHESTER, N.H. (March 30, 2013) - Freshman goaltender and the unanimous choice as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player,
Connor Hellebuyck, stops all 28 shots as third-ranked and top-seeded UMass Lowell blanks 10
th-ranked and second-seeded New Hampshire 2-0 to win the NCAA Tournament Northeast Regional in Manchester, N.H., and advances to the Frozen Four for the first time in its Division I history.

Sophomore forward
Scott Wilson scored the only goal the River Hawks needed banging home the rebound of a Chad Ruhwedel slap shot with 30-seconds remaining in the second period. Freshman
Adam Chapie added the insurance marker midway through the third period with a nifty backhand shot on a one-on-three rush after taking a pass from Wilson.

UMass Lowell had earned a spot in the Regional Final with a stunning 6-1 victory over Wisconsin the day before. Six different players scored goals in that one and Hellebuyck made 31 saves.

Hellebuyck stopped 59 of 60 shots he faced in the Regional.
