LOWELL, Mass. – Riding a three-game winning streak, the UMass Lowell men's soccer team embarks on America East play with a matchup with UMBC under the lights of Cushing Field on Saturday night.
The River Hawks picked up two victories during rivalry week, knocking off both Merrimack and Massachusetts by 1-0 scorelines.
Denis Petro (Michalovce, Slovakia) and
Mario Mora Perez (Liberia, Costa Rica) tallied their first career goals and
Renato Kauzlaric (Zagreb, Croatia) picked up both helpers.Â
RIVER HAWK LEADERS
Stanley Alves (Minas Gerais, Brazil) paces the lineup with his two goals, two assists and six points, while
Roko Prsa (Sisak, Croatia) has scored a pair as well.

Patrik Gujic (Bjelovar, Croatia) has 12 saves and an 1.37 GAA.
AGAINST THE CONFERENCE AT CUSHING
Since the end of the 2015 season, UMass Lowell is 12-1-1 against America East opponents at Cushing Field. The lone loss came against UAlbany in the 2017 Championship game, and the River Hawks won all four of such games since.
